Boucher Energy Systems, Inc. has been selected as the exclusive air source heat pump installer for the HeatSmart Hudson/Stow Program. After reviewing several proposals, the HeatSmart Hudson/Stow team announced the selection of  Boucher Energy Systems, Inc. and Bill Wenzel Heating & Air Conditioning, as the partner air-source heat pump and ground-source heat pump installers, respectively.

This program is the latest community clean energy initiative to help residents and businesses of Hudson and Stow save money on their energy bills, while also reducing their greenhouse gas emissions. It provides education on the purchase of high-efficiency air- and ground-source heat pumps and the heat pumps are installed at a special discounted price. Two “Meet the Installer” kickoff events will be held, and residents will be able to meet with installers and volunteers to ask questions about the technology, process, and pricing.

HeatSmart Hudson/Stow is supported by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center and the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources. The HeatSmart team also receives technical support from the Cadmus Group, an international consulting firm with decades of experience supporting the development of clean energy projects in Massachusetts.

HeatSmart Hudson/Stow is organized by volunteers from the two communities with support from the Hudson and Stow town governments. The outreach efforts are being led by HeatSmart coaches in each community. They will guide through the HeatSmart Hudson/Stow process and provide the information needed to make the best decision for residents and businesses.
