Boucher Energy Systems, Inc. has been selected as the exclusive air source heat pump installer for the Solarize Massachusetts Plus Program. After reviewing several proposals, the Solarize Mass Plus Mendon/Upton team announced the selection of Boucher Energy Systems, Inc. as the partner air-source heat pump installer.
This program is the latest community clean energy initiative to help residents and businesses of Mendon and Upton save money on their energy bills, while also reducing their greenhouse gas emissions. It provides education on the purchase of high-efficiency air-source heat pumps and the heat pumps are installed at a special discounted price. “Meet the Installer” kickoff events will be held, and residents will be able to meet with installers and volunteers to ask questions about the technology, process, and pricing.
Solarize Mass Plus Mendon/Upton is supported by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center and the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources. The Solarize Mass Plus team also receives technical support from the Cadmus Group, an international consulting firm with decades of experience supporting the development of clean energy projects in Massachusetts.
Solarize Mass Plus Mendon/Upton is organized by volunteers from the two communities with support from the Mendon and Upton town governments. The outreach efforts are being led by Solarize Mass Plus coaches in each community. They will guide through the Solarize Mass Plus process and provide the information needed to make the best decision for residents and businesses.
